General Store in Norway

In the late 1800s, Jacob Hufford, Matt's great, great grandfather, opened the General Store in Norway, Iowa. In the tradition of all entrepreneurs, Jacob opened his store to supply the best possible products to the local farmers and neighboring inhabitants of this small part of rural America. He had a knack for stocking the right products at just the right price and cultivated a reputation for quality and fair dealing. Jacob apprenticed his son Frank in his retail business. Frank-with his wife Jesse-was able to sustain and grow the business profitably through the Great Depression, the war years, through the 50s and on until Frank's death in 1964.

In honor of Jacob and Frank's entrepreneurial spirit and to keep the family's good mojo going, Norway Cycles Inc. was created. We're ready to work with cycle enthusiasts and novices to handcraft the finest traditional and not-so-traditional steel frames available.
Norway Cycles Inc. can produce both traditional and custom lines of bicycle frames to both dealers and consumers at extremely reasonable and fair prices. We only use the highest quality materials, components and tools available and work completely by hand to produce cycles unique in the industry and unique to the individual cyclist.
