The story, the builder, the man Being from Iowa and proud of it, I have a special fondness for Iowans who made good, and thereve been a few. Most of them, including Herbert Hoover, John Wayne, Buffalo Bill Cody and Grant Wood, moved on to bigger things and became famous on the world stage. Others have gained famed in more select circles. Back in the late 1980s I heard about frame builder who was building for Gary Fisher and found out he was from Iowa. I followed Tom Teesdale as he moved his talents from Fisher to Marin Bikes onto Jamis Bikes and on to Kona Bikes in the early 90s. A trusted friend of Joe Murray, Tom accepted Joe's mountain bike design as gospel and witnessed over the years as everyone in the industry followed suit. Toms well known in the frame building industry as the go-to guy for fast, custom, race rigs, and he has a knack for mid-level production. His reputation for high quality, no-nonsense designs is the perfect match for Norway Cycles philosophy: Deliver what the true cyclist wants, a bike made for the individual by an individual. Meet the man.... ![]() | ||||
